Ongoing sales support
Every Herman Miller dealership is assigned dealer market managers. They are your first point of contact, helping you with day-to-day issues and all aspects of planning and development. Our design department can provide space planning, design and presentation support, while Herman Miller’s
calendar of dealer events gives the opportunity to network with other dealers, share best practice and stay abreast of leading edge developments.
Technology
Space planning and design are supported by the best CAD tools available. They support the production of product tallies, quotations and 3D visualizations, automating the design process and providing built-in quality control. The CAD tools also interface with Herman Miller’s order entry systems.
EOS is Herman Miller’s leading edge quote and space-planning tool which greatly reduces the time needed to design, quote, and purchase. This simple interface is an alternative to using CAD specialists as it produces high-quality space plans and 3D visualisations quickly and easily on a
laptop PC. EOS’s dealer quote tool allows you to generate a quote immediately, and send the purchase order on-line to our manufacturing systems.
Training
Herman Miller makes induction and product training available to dealer management and staff on all levels. This includes visits to our state-of-the-art facilities in the UK. We can also provide ongoing training by sales managers on site, product master classes, and design application, not to mention CAD and installation training.

FasTrak™ dealer
Herman Miller FasTrak uses an integrated electronic platform to deliver great products on fast lead times and guaranteed delivery dates. For the dealer, FasTrak offers the opportunity to provide an exceptional service experience, and so build strong customer relationships. This simple low cost business model is particularly suited to you if you are looking to start an office furniture dealership. Not just FasTrak delivery but FasTrak start-up as the technology shortens the timescale and lowers the cost of implementation. Training in the technology and product is all you need to be effective.
Seating distributor
There are a limited number of opportunities to become a nationwide Herman Miller seating distributor, building and supporting a network of retailers. Excellent marketing and logistic skills are necessary. Your investment will be in inventories, marketing, training and logistics. Building on the existing dealers you will establish a nationwide network of office furniture dealers, retailers and ergonomic specialists.
