The SaloneUfficio International Furniture Exhibition will be held 16-21 April 2008, at the Milan Fairgrounds at Rho.
The show, which is in its 14th year, attracts some 270,000 visitors, including architects, designers, facility managers, specifiers, and end-users from 145 countries. They congregate in Milan for five days, to view the latest industry offerings. The unique experience created at SaloneUfficio makes it a leading global event in this sector, and an excellent platform for doing international business.
Herman Miller will be officially launching Sense, on a 300 sqm stand in Pavilion 16, location C33- D34. The design and layout of the stand underline the key messages of the product: connect, build, play and grow. The space also incorporates a hospitality area, meeting room and reception desk. This will be the largest presence Herman Miller has had at this forward-thinking and growing exhibition. Designed by Totems, whose Herman Miller design credits include Orgatec 2006 and the modular Leaf light exhibit, the Salone stand gives a flavour of things to come at Orgatec 2008, as we look to align the two shows to maintain brand consistency.
Commenting on SaloneUfficio, Luke Dawson in international marketing said,” Every year we see this show grow, in terms of size, visitor numbers and the quality of exhibitors. These trends reflect that the event is gaining European, or even international, market share, becoming a leading international show in the industry’s event calendar. Therefore it is key that we continue to grow our footprint at this event and associate it with our brand. Using the show as a launch platform for new products will solidify our leadership position in design and innovation”.
